Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. The Believer’s Battlecry was started back in 2004 with a primary purpose of awakening believers to the realities of the struggle that is going on for the hearts and lives of every person. As we look around in our world today we see the kind of tactics the god of this age uses to blind people to the truth and since we do not struggle against flesh and blood, it becomes very important on how we engage our culture.
To be effective as believers, we should view and interpret everything that happens in the culture through the lens of Scripture. Whether it is current events, social issues, politics, media or evangelism, it must be framed within a Biblical worldview. There is no other way. If the Bible is our absolute source of truth, and it should be, then we must always use it as our only point of reference when we engage a culture that is becoming more and more anti-Christian. As Jesus predicted we will be hated for His name sake and as history has shown us Biblical truth draws out the hatred and ridicule from many. Regardless, we are still called to be the light in this dark world.
So I trust that through the news stories, commentaries and other resources that I post here, your Biblical worldview will be strengthened and you will be encouraged to get off the sidelines and on to the front-lines ready to confront the culture with Jesus Christ.
